Nonsurgical treatments: These treatments are the easiest and result oriented treatment.

1. Oral Drugs: Use of the oral drugs to overcome ED is the best available option for the ED patients. Oral drugs like Kamagra, Apcalis, Caverta, or generic Levitra can be taken by the men suffering with ED before the sexual activity to get the strong, hard, and long-lasting erection. Success rate of oral drugs is 99%.
2. Penile injections: This therapy includes the injecting the drugs in liquid form directly into the penis. TriMix, Alprostadil, papaverine are the most common drugs injected in the penis to treat erectile dysfunction. Success rate observed is 85%.
3. Exercising: You doctor may suggest you some specific exercises like pelvic muscle exercises that will help you to overcome ED. But, only exercising will not give you the results, so exercising should be used in combination with the either oral drugs or penile injections.
4. Hormonal therapy: Many times ED is found to be caused by the hormonal imbalance specifically due to the deficiency of the hormone testosterone. So, the oral doses or injection of hormone testosterone are given to the men. The success rate is only 60%

Surgical treatments: These treatments involve the surgery of the penile region and the implantation of the artificial supporting parts to the penis that helps the penis to get the strong, rigid and long-lasting erection.

1. Implants of semirigid or flexible rods: In the penis, two semirigid or malleable rods are inserted with the help of surgery. This structure works after the sexual stimulation gives penis an additional support to remain erect and hard for the more time.
2. Penile implants: A device in inserted in the penis which helps to get the erection. All the men using this surgery had expressed their satisfaction. Success rate is 60%.
3. Vascular reconstructive surgery: Surgery is done to either reconstruct the arteries in the penis or to block the veins which supply blood out of the penis. This surgery is found to be effective in 50% of the cases.
4. Inflatable implants: In this treatment, a pump in placed in scrotum, two cylinders are placed in penis, and a reservoir is placed in the cylinders or separately below the tissues of the lower abdomen. This all parts function together and give you the erection. But, rate of failure is quite high in this treatment.
